* Today starts a free healthy life workshop held for six weeks. It will take place on Tuesdays from 6-8:30 p.m. at the Greene County Annex building, which hosts the Home Healthcare office. To register, call Generations at 1-800-742-9002.

Wednesday, Feb. 1

* Linton Lodge No. 560 will be having a MM degree. Dinner will begin at 6 p.m. and the work will begin at 7 p.m.

Thursday, Feb. 2

* The Greene County Master Gardeners will meet at the County Extension Office at 7 p.m.

* Dugger Lodge No. 721 F&AM will have a called meeting to work in the MM Degree at 7 p.m. Visiting brethren are welcome.

Friday, Feb. 3

* Jasonville F&AM Lodge 530 will confer a Master Mason degree today. The meal will be at 6 p.m., and work will begin at 7 p.m. All visiting brethren are welcome.

* The Linton Civitan Club will host the annual Clergy Dinner at 6:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall of Linton Assembly of God Church, located at Highway 54 East in Linton. Letters have been sent to churches in the Greene County area, however if a letter was not received call 847-9236 or 847-2715 to RSVP. Pastors need only bring their associate pastor, youth pastor and spouse. All Civitan members are to bring large dishes of food.

* The monthly biscuit and sausage gravy breakfast will be held at the Jasonville Senior Citizens Center from 7-9:30 a.m. Other breakfast items, as well as carry out, will be available.

Saturday, Feb. 4

* Greene County Singles will host a dance at the Greene County 4-H Community Building. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., dinner is from 6-7 p.m., and the dance is from 7-10 p.m.

Monday, Feb. 6

* Today is the deadline to apply for several scholarships through the Greene County Foundation. Application and criteria are available on the foundation's website, www.greenecountyfoundation.org . For more information contact the Foundation at 659-3142.

* The Greene County General Hospital Auxiliary will meet at 1:30 p.m. in the conference room.
