Florida Native Plant Society: 7 p.m. Monday, American Legion Hall, 208 E Fort Dade Ave. The program will be about where to find fall wildflowers in Hernando County, what species to look for and how to establish wildflower meadows at home. It will also include information about the Florida Wildflower Foundation's work to help counties promote the growth of wildflowers on their roadsides through targeted mowing and planting projects. German-American Club of Spring Hill: "Welcome Back Dance," Friday, Hernando Shrine Hall, 13400 Montour St., west of Brooksville.
