Prior to helping people buy and sell property, he enjoyed a successful career with Xerox in Rochester, N.Y., where he managed a group of field test engineers. He and his wife, Carol, moved to Ocean City in 1986, deciding to trade the cold winters of the north for the sunny beaches of Ocean City. Their son, Craig, joined them three months later and now resides here with his wife, Sherry, and their 2-year-old daughter, Bailey and 12-year-old-son, Jacob. Nielander is consistently in the Top 100 sales associates of Long and Foster, which has more than 13,000 agents in seven Mid-Atlantic states and the District of Columbia.
