Friday, October 7th, 2011 vs Spokane Chiefs - 6-4

The Kamloops Blazers won 6-4 at home on Friday night. The Blazers built a 5-1 lead as Brendan Ranford, JT Barnett, Jordan DePape, Austin Madaisky and Aspen Sterzer scored the goals to give the Blazers a significant lead with less than ten minutes to go in the game. Saturday, October 8th, 2011 at Everett Silvertips - 5-2 win

The Blazers led to Everett on Saturday night for their game's first drive of the season. The hockey club was the maximum score in a 5-2 victory against the boards. Dylan Willick opened the scoring for the Blazers, burying a rebound. The Councils "would strike for the next two goals to lead 2-1 midway of the game. Matt Needham added two goals power play late in the second period to give the Blazers a 3-2 lead in the final image. Monday, October 10th, 2011 vs. Medicine Hat Tigers - 5-4 defeat

The Blazers let this game slip as they blew a 4-1 lead and lost 5-4 on home ice Monday afternoon. Goals by Dylan Willick, Chase Schaber, and Colin Smith put the Blazers with two in mind. Tigers goalie Tyler Bunz was remarkable after a weak start to the game. The Blazers could not close the door as the Tigers back in the game and hung on a 5-4 victory. Pink Power Play month has begun and the Kamloops Blazers will be raising money throughout the month to support Breast Cancer. The Blazers will be wearing a specially designed Pink Reebok Jersey on Friday, October 28th when they host the Kelowna Rockets.
