Julie Houston joined Tom Scott Communication Shop in June. Houston has worked as a media director, planner and buyer for 22 years with a Boise advertising agency. Her duties include strategic media planning and placement for all major media. She is also responsible for media trafficking and analysis of client media schedules, as well as preparing client presentations. Houston has worked with a variety of clients from automotive to health care, political campaigns and public utilities to financial institutions. Before her involvement in the media industry, Houston served on active duty in the U.S. Air Force in the Intelligence Division based at Mountain Home Air Force Base.

The CORE, an industry cluster to establish an Idaho core competency in health and research, announced members of its executive leadership team. Lawyers Title Insurance Corp. has renewed and expanded its office lease in Fitzhugh Central at 4131 N. Central Expressway, signing a seven-year lease for 6,076 square feet. The company will expand into its new space in October. Nathan Denton of Lee & Associates represented the tenant. Belinda Dabliz was the in-house leasing agent for the property owner, Gaedeke Group.
