It's understandable that Vacaville police have to stretch their budget, but getting other driver's insurance to pay for new police cars may not be prove sustainable. The Rooster jests, of course, but it is a wonder that, in less than a month, two Vacaville patrol cars have been involved in pile-ups on Interstate 80. It's unclear if the female officers behind the wheels were at fault, but the publicity alone is giving women drivers a bad name.
